About Us

The Board of the Higher Council of Science and Technology (HCST/Jordan) in its meeting on 2/12/2003 approved the establishment of a Virtual institute of Biotechnology and delegated to the Secretariat General of the council the establishment of this institute.

The council of ministers approved the By-law and a Royal decree was issued on November 1st 2005 (official Gazette No. 4726).
